Worldwide Dive Vacations

Join us on our trip to Truk Lagoon!
Blue Lagoon Resort
April 14th-23rd, 2018

Come join us as we head to one of the most exciting wreck diving destinations in the world.  Truk Lagoon is located in the Federated States of Micronesia in the South Pacific. During WWII it was one of Japan’s most formidable strongholds and their main base in the South Pacific.  It served as anchorage for Japan’s Imperial naval fleet.

In February 1944, American forces attacked Truk in “Operation Hailstone” which lasted for 3 days, sinking 12 warships, 32 merchant ships and 275 aircraft. Truk is now considered the largest underwater shipwreck graveyard in the world. Not only are the wrecks intact with cargo holds of sake bottles, 1940’s trucks, machinery and even Japanese Zero planes inside but the outside of the wrecks are an explosion of color filled with stunning soft corals and marine life.  This is a bucket list dive trip for any wreck diving enthusiast or underwater photographer!

We will be staying at the Blue Lagoon Resort and all of our diving will be with their onsite dive center.  Each of their boats holds 6 divers which will ensure that there aren’t too many divers on each wreck at one time. We will typically do 2 boat dives each day.  Additional dives may be purchased at the onsite dive center.  Truk is very remote area and so we strongly recommend you carry dive insurance such as DAN or DiveAssure.
